CYD Black Matchbook

CYD Matchbooks are a simple drink spike test. Each Matchbook contains 8 test strips and is small enough to fit in a pocket, wallet or phone case, so you can stay safe from drink spiking when travelling, socialising or going about daily life. To use, tear out a strip and put a drop of your drink onto the pale pink and yellow test pads. If the pink pad turns blue or pale grey, or the yellow pad turns orange, do not drink it. Alert your friends and a member of staff and get them to help you to safety. See our website for symptoms and what to do if you think you or someone you are with has been spiked. The tests have been developed and validated by three independent bodies: Clinical Trials Laboratory Services (CTLS), the University of Strathclyde and Lucideon. It is the only police approved drink spike test in the UK. CYD is an indicator screening test, not a laboratory test. No colour change does not guarantee a drink is safe. If in doubt, don't drink it.
